This concept note outlines a proposed 36-month project by AFRACA and Pathways Technologies focusing on 'Green Finance and Climate Readiness for African Financial Institutions Supporting Rural Communities'. Targeting Zimbabwe, Uganda, DRC, Ghana, and Burundi, the project aims to strengthen climate readiness among financial institutions and policymakers, build capacity, establish a Green Finance Revolving Fund, and deploy digital tools to support climate-resilient rural livelihoods.
