This presentation, part of an AFRACA Blue Finance Training Workshop, explores the role of women in the fisheries sector and strategies for gender equality and social inclusion (GESI). It examines women's engagement across the fisheries value chain, highlighting challenges and opportunities for enhancing GESI, drawing on global outlooks and FAO literature. The workshop took place in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, in June 2025.
