This report presents a feasibility assessment of value chain finance needs for small pelagics in Tanzania's Lake Tanganyika, focusing on sprat, sardine, and perch. Conducted by FAO in partnership with AFRACA for the FISH4ACP project, it assesses market demand and supply for financial and insurance services, highlighting challenges in stakeholder access to finance despite existing institutions.
