Rapid Baseline Survey Report: Status of Financial and Insurance Services Provision for Small-Scale Fisheries and Aquaculture Sectors in Africa

Document Abstract

This report presents findings from a rapid baseline assessment conducted by AFRACA and FAO in February-March 2021 on financial and insurance services for small-scale fisheries and aquaculture in Africa. It identifies service providers, programs, capacity needs, and perceptions, with data from 47 financial institutions across various African countries including Nigeria, Kenya, Ghana, Uganda, Zambia, and Tanzania.
