This third progress report recommends strategic capacity building options for the Small-Scale Fisheries (SSF) sector in Africa, based on an AFRACA and FAO survey and desk review. It assesses current capacity building interventions, highlights the need to enhance FSPs' ability to tailor financial and insurance services, and discusses challenges like commercial banks' reliance on collateral-based lending.
