This document outlines a joint collaborative project between AFRACA and FAGACE aimed at expanding financial institutions' reach to smallholder farmers through incentives and risk mitigation mechanisms. The project seeks to improve credit outreach by empowering FIs with enhanced risk management knowledge and skills, promoting value chain finance and risk-sharing. It builds on AFRACA's prior experiences with partners like DID International and AfDB.
