This concept note outlines a consultative webinar organized by AFRACA and AFD, focusing on enhancing the role of African Public Development Banks (PDBs) in financing sustainable, resilient, and inclusive agricultural systems. It addresses the financing gap for smallholder farmers and agri-SMEs, proposing blended finance, green instruments, and risk-adapted loan models. The initiative aims to strengthen PDBs' capacity and will be presented at the Africa Forward Summit in May 2026.
