AFRACA Executive Masterclass 2026 Concludes in Lagos
The AFRACA Executive Masterclass 2026 concluded on 21 August 2026 after four days at the Black Diamond Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos. Co-hosted by AFRACA with NIRSAL, Alliance Bioversity & CIAT and Pathways Technologies, the masterclass brought together participants from AFRACA member institutions to work through climate resilience, financial inclusion, smart agriculture, and artificial intelligence in agricultural finance.
Sessions included a presentation from EcoDev Solutions on its mpower-u system, which uses AI-driven behavioural assessments to score smallholder farmers on their likelihood to grow, repay and adopt new practice, feeding personalised nudges back to borrowers through loan officers and field agronomists. Participants also worked with live datasets throughout the four days to complete mock funding-proposal templates, closing with certificate issuance on the final day.
