Rapport analyse Financement Huitre Senegal 1

Document Abstract

Focusing on the oyster value chain in Senegal, this study examines the harvesting, processing, and marketing segments primarily carried out by women. It reviews the legal and regulatory framework governing banks, microfinance institutions, digital finance providers, and insurers, alongside government financing mechanisms for the fisheries sector. Additionally, it highlights the constraints and opportunities related to financial access across the value chain, drawing on institutional consultations to lay the groundwork for targeted field surveys.
