This draft study examines the financial policies and legislation impacting financial service provision to the small pelagics value chain in Zambia. It identifies supportive policies for financial inclusion but notes the lack of deliberate policies targeting this value chain. The report provides conclusions and recommendations for more inclusive rural finance policies and innovative approaches to improve access to financial services for MSMEs in the sector.
