Annex 8 Report #1 Cote d' Ivoire Tilapia Value Chain

Document Abstract

Produced under the FISH4ACP initiative, this stakeholder analysis examines the provision of financial and insurance services for the farmed tilapia value chain in Côte d'Ivoire. It assesses the roles, geographic distribution, product offerings, and institutional mechanisms of public bodies, commercial banks, decentralized financial systems, and insurance providers. The report also details strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and operational challenges that influence the access of aquaculture operators to credit, financing mechanisms, and social protection.
