This narrative report details the progress of an AFRACA-AGRA project focused on strengthening Public Development Banks (PDBs) to enhance inclusive finance for youth, particularly young women, in African agrifood systems. It outlines the project's background, goals to improve agri-finance policy, and objectives, including policy innovation, youth voice representation, and capacity building across 28 countries. The report highlights AFRACA's strategic pillars of convening, advocacy, capacity building, and knowledge dissemination, aimed at unlocking capital for youth and women in agriculture.
