Public Development Banks and Central Banks Mapping Report (June 2026)

Document Abstract

Mapping report produced under the AFRACA-AGRA project Strengthening the role of Public Development Banks to promote inclusive finance for youth, especially young women, in agrifood systems (AGRA Grant Ref No. 2025 RE 019). It establishes a preliminary cohort of 27 institutions for structured engagement: 11 central banks, 3 regional public development banks and 13 national and sub-national public development banks. It also records the convenings, findings and recommendations that shaped the engagement approach under the Agricultural Finance Policy Accelerator Facility (AFPAF).
