TCDC 2026 Ghana Country Visit: Regulatory Frameworks for Strengthening Rural Financial Systems, the Case of ARB Apex Bank

The Ghana Country Visit under AFRACA's 2026 Technical Cooperation among Developing Countries (TCDC) Exchange Programme runs from Monday 16 to Friday 20 November 2026 in Accra, hosted by ARB Apex Bank PLC. Sessions take place at the Airport View Hotel, with two full-day field visits to community banks on Wednesday and Thursday.

ARB Apex Bank is wholly owned by Ghana's rural and community banks, holds a full banking licence and exercises supervisory authority delegated by the Bank of Ghana. Participants hear from ARB Apex Bank, the Bank of Ghana, GHAMFIN, the Credit Unions Association and GIRSAL, visit Kakum CB and Akuapim CB and their clients, and close by presenting action plans for their own institutions.

Sessions run in English and French, with simultaneous interpretation throughout.
