Johannes Hugues EDOH is an Agricultural Engineer, Animal Nutritionist, and Rural Finance Professional with over a decade of experience in integrated farming systems, agro-pastoral value chains, and agricultural advisory services. Currently serving as the AFRACA Focal Point for the ECOWAS Region, he acts as a strategic liaison connecting financial institutions, development partners, and private sector stakeholders to accelerate inclusive agricultural and rural finance across West Africa.

Johannes holds a Master of Science in Animal Production/Nutrition from the University of Ilorin (Nigeria), as well as Bachelor's degrees in Agronomic Sciences and Applied English Linguistics from the University of Abomey-Calavi (Benin). He also holds advanced certifications in Change Management and Project Management. His technical expertise spans cluster-based value chain development, standard operating procedures (SOPs), digital data systems, and circular economy approaches to advance sustainable rural and agricultural finance.

A fully bilingual professional (English/French), Johannes provides high-level technical translation and policy drafting, bridging field agronomy with development finance frameworks. Dedicated to public speaking and executive communication, he has held key Toastmasters International leadership roles, including Area Director and Club President. Driven by a vision for innovative, market-driven agriculture, he works to advance AFRACA's mission of building competitive, climate-resilient, and sustainable food systems across Africa.
