Azaratou Sondo/Nignan is a distinguished Burkinabe financial executive with over 25 years of experience in the microfinance sector. She is the Director General (CEO) of the Faîtière des Caisses Populaires du Burkina (FCPB). She has also served as President of the Professional Association of Decentralized Financial Systems of Burkina Faso (APSFD-BF).

Holds a degree in Higher Banking Studies from the Technical Institute of Banks (Paris), a Master's in Sociology from Ouagadougou University, a Master's in Communication for Sustainable Development (IPED), and a Master II in Management of Decentralized Financial Systems from the Catholic University of Central Africa (UCAC).
